Legal Requirements

With Your Consent

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Purchase and transaction records are retained for 8 years to comply with GST and tax obligations under Indian law. Active program membership data is kept for the duration of your membership plus 2 years following its expiry. Marketing consent and email data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Course completion and access records are stored for 5 years after your last access. Support correspondence is retained for 3 years. Website analytics data is kept for 26 months, which is the Google Analytics default. Application data for rejected applicants is deleted after 12 months.

Your Rights

For All Users (under Indian DPDP Act 2023)

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to access a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data. You may request erasure of your data, subject to legal retention obligations. You may contact our grievance officer (see below) for any data-related complaints. You may also nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity.

For EU/UK Users (under GDPR/UK GDPR)

In addition to the above, if you are located in the EU or UK, you have the right to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (data portability). You may request that we restrict or limit how we use your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based, though this does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
